Who we are
Icons Lab (“we”, “us”) makes a library of animated icons with sounds, and runs this website. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit the site or buy a license, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you visit. Our hosting provider processes standard request data (IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time) so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- When you buy. Our payment provider collects your name, email, billing details and payment method. We receive your name, email, what you bought and the transaction details, but never your full card number.
- When you contact us. Whatever you choose to send us, such as your email address and message.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information, show ads, build profiles, or track you across other websites. The site has no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't contact a font service.
Sound and your device
Icon sounds play only in your browser, and only after you turn sound on or tap something. We never use your microphone, and nothing you hear or play is sent to us.
How we use information
- To deliver your purchase, your license and future updates.
- To answer support requests and process refunds.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run Icons Lab: our hosting provider, our payment provider, and the email service that sends receipts. They process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept for as long as your license is active and as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support messages are deleted once they are no longer needed. Hosting request logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. These rights apply under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and, where relevant, laws such as the GDPR. To make a request, contact us at the support address in your purchase receipt. We'll reply within 30 days.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. When they do, they protect it with safeguards required by law.
Children
Icons Lab isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll tell customers by email.
